The Academy Award winner is the father of six children. The actor and his first wife, Diahnne Abbott, have two children: Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46. Julian and Aaron, 27, were born in 1995 with his former partner, model and actress Toukie Smith.
According to People, De Niro also has a son, Elliot, 24, and a daughter, Helen Grace, 11, with his ex-wife, Grace Hightower.
The Godfather actor is a grandfather as well. He stated that the best thing a parent or grandparent can do is encourage their children to pursue their ambitions.
A representative for De Niro later confirmed that he is actually a father of seven
'If you want to be an actress or do this or that, that's fine as long as you're happy,' I tell my kids. Just don't undersell yourself." De Niro revealed to People in January 2020.
